Algoma University, Brampton Campus

 
 

The University of Algoma, Brampton Campus welcomes over 5,000 students, housing a dozen faculties and departments, including the Algoma University School of Business & Economics, the School of Computer Science & Technology.

 

As a satellite campus, the priority for the University was to create a ‘heart’, where students and faculty could gather and live a shared academic experience. Phase 2 of Brampton Campus includes Student Services and Office of the Regsitrar and the School of Professional & Continuing Studies, with classrooms located across campus at various Main and Queen Street buildings.

The Student Services building includes an Indigenous Ceremony room and the campus’s main lecture room, equipped for various types of presentations and events, including ‘smudging’.
