Bloomberg Media

Bloomberg’s Toronto workplace is designed as a highly coordinated environment that merges advanced technology, rigorous acoustic performance, and refined spatial planning within a compact downtown footprint.

The project brings together open work areas, collaboration spaces, and a suite of meeting rooms in a seamless layout that supports focused work and clear communication, with a broadcast room integrated discreetly into the plan, complemented by a series of video-enabled meeting rooms that support high-quality virtual communication. These technical spaces are embedded directly within the workspace — maintaining a quiet, understated presence while ensuring reliable performance for internal and external conversations.

Material selections and lighting strategies were calibrated for clarity, comfort, and adaptability. Subtle backdrops, controlled reflectance, and uniform illumination create a professional and cohesive environment suited to a range of communication needs without disclosing operational detail.

The project required careful coordination of power, data, mechanical systems, and acoustic assemblies to meet Bloomberg’s global performance standards. Working closely with their design and engineering teams, the resulting workplace maintains strict privacy expectations while achieving a polished, contemporary environment tailored to a global organization.
