Relocating the existing servery and coat check allowed for the creation of a new dramatic wood feature wall and standing bar, as well as the optimization of intermission circulation. Other major interventions include removal of the existing institutional acoustic tile ceiling and exposing the structure above to create a sense of drama. The introduction of a dark colour palette adds a sense of coziness and warmth to the space, while new velvet banquettes, brass details and wood-batten walls add texture and richness.
